Hard Rock Bet confirmed the payout themselves: 14 moneyline picks plus one run line, all locked in at 6:35 a.m. ET before a single first pitch was thrown on the Tuesday, August 5 slate. Fourteen straight moneylines alone gets you laughed out of a group chat. This person did that, then still needed a run line to close the ticket, and got that too.

This is shaping up as the biggest 15-leg MLB parlay win of the year, and probably the biggest sports betting parlay of 2026 overall. Sportsbooks build 15-leg tickets assuming approximately nobody clears them, which is how a $15 wager turns into $149,477.18 in the first place. Do the math and that’s roughly 9,965 times the original stake, a number that exists mostly so the sportsbook can point at it and say the thing is technically beatable, right before collecting on everyone else’s losing tickets.
The Royals leg is the one that should keep you up at night.
Kansas City was +1.5 on the run line at -125, meaning this ticket needed one more thing to go right after already going 14-for-14. It did. The Royals covered by a six-run margin, which is either the least dramatic way to sweat a six-figure parlay or the most, depending on how many times you refreshed the score that afternoon.
That’s almost disappointing, honestly. Part of me wanted a bad-beat horror story waiting on leg fifteen.
The rest of the ticket is where it gets legitimately absurd. Yahoo Sports laid out the full slate, and buried in there are results like the Mets covering as +135 underdogs against the Guardians, the Cubs knocking off the Dodgers as +190 dogs, and the Tigers shutting out the Mariners 8-0 as +125 dogs. Three separate underdog moneylines cashing on the same card turns this from a lucky Hard Rock Bet parlay winner into something closer to borderline supernatural.
The Rays needed eleven innings to finish off a comeback win over the Rockies, which means somewhere around the seventh inning this ticket was genuinely live to die. I’ve had two-leg parlays blow up on a walk-off in the ninth. Watching someone thread fifteen of these without a single loss makes my own betting history look like a cry for help.
